Ilfracombe
Church
Welcome to North Devon Salvation Army.
We are a small church focusing on living out our values of justice, mercy and faithfulness in the communities of North Devon.
During the week we:
- Offer practical support to vulnerable or homeless individuals offering emergency shelter as part of our Pod Project and Rough Sleeper Breakfast
- Run supportive groups for young families [our "Welcome to the Village" activities including Family Space, Space to Grow & HeadSpace]
- Mentor students and serve as Chaplains in Schools
- Help to run Delta - a youth drop in-supported by ICE Ilfracombe
- Support and extend mental health provision within our communities.
- Support individuals with housing and debt advice
- Engage in discipleship and spiritual formation
- Support the work of North Devon Foodbank
- Help individuals gain confidence to learn and work in our bicycle recycling program Recycles
- Advocate and challenge local Government to address housing injustices and work with local projects to increase access to housing
