Crook Salvation Army is really missing its guests and volunteers during the Covid crisis. However, due to the current Covid restrictions we are limited to what community activities we can offer as we seek to keep members of the public safe.  Therefore, Crook Salvation Army will not be open for worship or weekly activities, (including the Charity Shop) until current restrictions end. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to our activities as soon as it is safe to do so. Please keep an eye on this website for updates on when we can re-open.

However, the Foodbank will continue to be open on Thursday mornings between 10-12noon. (*Please note the Foodbank is currently closed on Tuesdays)

We also have a new Debt Advice provision which is running remotely, please see below.

Debt Advice

Crook Salvation Army now offers free, confidential and impartial Debt Advice.

If money is a worry and you are looking for support we would love to help you. If court summons, council tax arrears, rent arrears, fines or other debts are an issue:

Thank You!

A huge thanks to everyone who has supported the Christmas Toy Appeal this year. Amidst difficult circumstances due to the pandemic - businesses, organisations and the public have rose to the challenge and responded so generously with donations of toys, food and monetary gifts. As a result of your help, with the support of our partner agencies, we have been able to deliver toys and food to almost 350 children from the local area. Whether you donated items locally or gave on our just giving page - a big thank you once again, your generosity helps us support the most vulnerable in our community. God Bless.

A special shout out to local businesses who supported us: Deans Taxis, Crook Youth Football Club, Middlesbrough Ladies Football Club, Witton Le Wear Primary School, Our Lady and St Thomas Primary School, Burnell Fencing, Aldi and DWP Bishop. Thank you to you all.
