The Annexe & Employment Plus Local
The Annexe is adjacent to the main hall in Whitehorse Lane and is the base for our community work in the city. Here, every weekday, you will find a warm welcome and a refreshing cup of tea or coffee and other light refreshments, all free of charge. Emergency food parcels, clothing and bedding are also available for those in need. If you just want sit and relax or need to share a burden, our volunteers are always ready to help.
Additionally, on Tuesdays and Thursdays we operate Employment Plus Local which offers the unemployed the opportunity, in a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere, to search for jobs via the internet using our laptops. We also help with C.V.'s, email account creation, Find a Job account creation and other job related activities. Help with form filling, paper or on-line, is also available.
One to one help is available for those who would like additional assistance. Individual appointments can be arranged if required.

- Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm
- Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am - 2pm Employment Plus Local
The Annexe is usually closed Bank Holidays, Easter and Christmas.
