Balham Salvation Army is an active Christian church which offers a place of worship and friendship to all and, in a practical way, takes the message of God’s love and hope to those in our local community.

Come and enjoy times of Christian Worship and Fellowship

10am: Our doors open with a cuppa and time to chat.

11am: Morning Worship - which lasts about an hour and ten minutes

11:15am: Sunday School, for children aged three years and over, up in the Coffee Lounge.
Younger children are welcome to remain in the worship with their parents / carers.

12:10pm: Refreshments and Fellowship in the Coffee Lounge


Knife and Gun Crime Community Discussion Saturday 17 Match 2018 5pm to 8pm In the Lochinvar Hall at the rear of the building. Come and hear from those who have experience of knife crime, share your views and help us as a community to highlight issues of concern. All are welcome.


"God promised when we call on Him, He will answer prayer." Join us each Friday at 12 noon until 12:45 as we journey together with God in prayer. During March and April 2018 we are following "Let's Rebuild Together." The Salvation Army call to 52 Days of Prayer and Fasting with Nehemiah.

Charity Shop

You will always be welcome at our charity shop.
Regular volunteers and quality donations are also needed, do drop in when the shop is open.

Our opening times are

Monday and Tuesday 10:00am to 2:00pm.

Friday 10:00am to 5:30pm.
Do pop into "Coffee and Chat" in our church hall for tea/coffee and cake from 9am until 12noon

Saturday 10:00am to 5:30pm.

Donations for sale are welcome,
Please note we are not able to take large items of furniture and do not collect.
