Children's resources

Here you'll discover a range of resources designed to inspire children and equip them to be effective disciples of Jesus. Our resources have been developed to equip, enable and empower children’s workers to help children think about and talk about God, inspiring them to serve their communities and make a difference in the world.

Newly updated, the Mobilise course has 24 brilliant sessions that nurture children’s personal experience of Jesus and equip them to spread God’s message of love in the world.

It’s designed for children of primary school age in a regular discipleship class (like Sunday school). It can also be used alongside the Mobilise Award scheme, giving children the opportunity to practise what they are learning.

This six-session course can be used to prepare children for becoming junior soldiers, giving them an opportunity to follow Jesus. It can also be used as a nurture course for children who have already made a decision to be a disciple of Christ.

Activate has been designed with three main purposes in mind:

To explore aspects of being a Christian and enable children to make a personal choice
To help children discover what it means to live a Christ-centred life
To help children understand what it means to be a member of The Salvation Army as a junior soldier.
