Charity Shop

Our charity shop sells mainly second hand goods donated by the public. When visiting them you will find bargains and collectables plus an eclectic mix of fashions, bric a brac and other household items.

• Charity Shop Opening Times: 10am - 2pm Monday to Friday
• Donation Days: Monday & Wednesday: 10am - 1pm

We are committed to working with people whose lives have been affected by their harmful use of drugs or alcohol.  Our programme is voluntary, unconditional, flexible and is tailored to meet you where you are emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Our Addiction Support Worker offers:

• 1-2-1 holistic support that looks at the whole person and not just the addiction
• Group work
• Harm Reduction
• Blood Borne Virus Testing
• Partnership working with other services
• Volunteer Opportunities when early recovery is achieved

• Tuesday 1.30 - 3.00pm: Alcohol Anonymous 
• Wednesday 7.30 - 9.00pm: Alcohol Anonymous
• Thursday 3.00 - 4.00pm: Change, Life, Grow (CGL) Harm Reduction
• Friday 7.30 - 9.00pm: Cocaine Anonymous

Our debt counselling service is free and available Monday to Thursday 9am - 2pm, to anyone in the Stirlingshire area to help with:

• Maximising income and minimising expenditure
• Assistance with benefit applications and appeals
• Liaising with creditors
• Setting payment plans
• Support in Sequestration if applicable
• Supporting clients through the whole debt process

Community Meals are provided Monday to Friday between 2pm - 4pm where a hot three course meal is served to all.  Many people use this service as a means to combat loneliness and to meet other like minded people.  We do not provide take away meals and provide only a sit in service.

We currently run a Toddler Group every Monday and Friday between 10am - 12pm. 

Parents, grandparents or carers must attend with the child and a snack is provided.

We are looking for assistance with various administrative tasks within our Stirling Centre for approximately 10 hours per week, working on a flexi time basis. 

Role requirements:

• All volunteers are DBS and reference checked.
• What you'll be doing:
• Assisting volunteers through the recruitment and disclosure process
• Minute taking of meetings and supervisions
• Assisting service users with forms and applications
• Keeping financial records
• General office duties

Skills required:

• Have an interest in our work in the local community
• Computer literate
• Good customer service skills
• Some experience preferrable, but full training will be provided.

Practical Considerations

• As part of the application process there will be an informal discussion to give you a chance to ask questions and for us to talk about the role
• You will be asked to sit some online training modules as part of your role as well as any other training provided which is relevant to your role
• We are happy to reimburse any agreed out of pocket expenses you incur whilst volunteering.
