We have a lot of special events that run through the year, from families days, holiday clubs and community days to baby banks, quiz nights, celebrations and social get togethers.
You can see all of our events on our events page here: https://www.facebook.com/shotts.sa/
Coming Up:
Tuesday 19 October 2021 (1400-1600) - Book Sale
Our Book Sale is one of our fundraising events that has always been very popular. With refreshments included in the £1 ticket price, you can come and browse our collection of used books and pick up something for a really good price. This helps us raise money for our work as well as encourage the re-using of books, preventing waste.
Sunday 21 November 2021 (1100-1230) - Harvest Celebration Service
For our Harvest celebration service this year we have a special guest coming to lead the meeting, Don McHucheon. We are supporting Paul's Parcels with their Christmas Day Hampers through our Harvest collection. A list will be published soon.
Saturday 27 November 2021 (1000-1300) - Christmas Coffee Morning
Our coffee mornings are hugely popular and a fantastic way of supporting our fundraising efforts while having a great time yourself. Ticket price includes refreshments including home baking and tea and coffee all round. You can also purchase some Christmas themed goodies from our wee sale in the back hall and buy home baking to take home too.
Saturday 11 December 2021 (1000-1300) - Christmas Carolling
This year we will once again be carolling outside Newmains ASDA, bringing Christmas cheer to the community. We will also be raising money for our Christmas Appeal. We can't wait to see you there.
Saturday 18 December 2021 (1000-1200) - Christmas Presence
Again this year we will be in the Coop car park with refreshments as the community go about their Christmas shopping. Pop by and say hello. We will have free tea, coffee and hot chocolate to keep you warm and a special treat for the kids if they stop by.
Friday 24 December 2021 (1930-2030) - Carols on the Crescent
This year our Carols service will take place on the grass area at the junction of Southfield Avenue and Torbothie Road. We will have our emergency response vehicle present for hot drinks to keep you warm as you join us to sing carols on Christmas eve. We will even bring the Carols books.
