Celebrating our Volunteers

Volunteers are at the heart of The Salvation Army.

We are grateful for the generosity of those who continue to volunteer their time and talents to serve their communities. This might be supporting victims of human trafficking, working in food banks and helping people who are experiencing homelessness.

Over the past year we have seen our volunteers step forward to support people with the impact of the economic crisis as well as to help integrate Ukrainian refugees into their communities. Read Clare and Mark’s moving reflections below, both of Sutton corps.

Give it a go! You will enjoy it, and we all have something to give.
Don't worry about lack of experience, there is training of all sorts available.
