Your monthly gift could help people through the toughest of times

When people are cold, hungry and living on the streets. When families are having to choose between heat and food. When older people are frail and lonely… they need a friend and loved one who’ll be there for the tough times.

But for people who have no one, The Salvation Army has been there through decades of tough times and is still there today, in over 600 of our communities, offering expert support and true compassion to people who need it most. No judgement, just kindness.

To offer vulnerable support and more stability in their lives, we need the certainty that we will be here to care for them, not just today and tomorrow, but in the weeks and months ahead. Please help us by setting up a monthly gift of £3, or whatever you can afford, to The Salvation Army.

Every month, your donation will help us reach people in need:

  • People experiencing homelessness will find shelter and the support they need to get back on their feet.
  • Families who are having to choose between heat and food will get the practical support they need.
  • Older people who are frail and lonely will find friendship, warmth and a hot meal.
  • People who simply need some human warmth and interaction will find a friendly welcome.

How does my donation make a difference?

  • £3 a month could help to provide support and advice for a homeless person at one of our Lifehouses (residential centres).
  • £7 a month could help lonely older people to enjoy a hot meal and the warmth of companionship at one of our lunch clubs.
  • £12 a month could contribute towards a food parcel for a family who are struggling to feed their children.

By giving to The Salvation Army, you can be assured that your donation will be used wisely.

91p in every pound we raise goes towards our charitable services.
