Teddington

Each Sunday at 10:30am, you are welcome at Teddington Salvation Army as we join together in a time of praise and worship. This consists of singing songs, prayer, hearing stories and exploring Scripture together. 

All are welcome, whether you are a regular attender at our church, part of the local community or from further afield. Our worship together each Sunday concludes with us sharing tea, coffee, cake and fellowship with each other.

Each week on a Wednesday, our doors are open to our community to join us as we sit a share a meal and fellowship together. We provide a two-course meal each week, followed by tea and coffee, for the cost of £5.

We aim to have food on the table for 12:30pm, so come a little earlier to have a chat with others. Anyone is welcome and we would love to see you, sit with you, and share this time together! 

Our Ladies Fellowship is an initiative to allow women of all ages to come together and journey deeper in faith and develop meaningful relationships in an informal way. This takes place on a six-weekly basis.

Each session follows a different theme/format, and provides a variety of ways to connect with God and with each other. Recent sessions have included Rock Painting, a Timbrel Workshop, Bible Journalling, and Craft Sessions.

In the lead up to Easter (the period of Lent), it is the custom of churches, including The Salvation Army, to enter into a time of learning or spiritual endeavour. This year, we are providing a 'Lean into Lent' series - time set aside to reflect, pray, worship and engage in discussion as we consider what God might be saying to us in 2024.

Each fortnight we have a Mini-Market on a Friday morning, selling pre-loved goods at bargain prices! Opening at 9:15am, we sell a wide range of items, including clothing, linen, footwear, bric-a-brac, books and toys. To know more, why not come along and have a browse at our stalls!

Every fortnight, our brass band join together in music-making, at 7pm on a Friday evening. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, we welcome people of all abilities to come and join us, whether that be to play along or to sit and listen.

We have refreshments part way through, and then join together for a final few tunes before closing with a short thought and prayer. Our practice ends at 8:30pm. You are invited to come along!

Tai Chi - At varying times on a Monday sees Tai Chi classes which are open to all.

Teddington Wind Orchestra - From 7:15-8:45pm on a Wednesday evening, you will find the Teddington Wind Orchestra rehearsing and making music together. The group welcomes players of all abilities and would be glad to see you pop in if you'd like to know more!

Weight Watchers - On a Friday morning between 10-11am, a Weight Watchers class is open to the community, giving emphasis to food, activity and mindset in the aim towards promoting healthier living.
