This Christmas, we want to reach out to the people who are suffering the most by bringing comfort and joy into their lives.

With the current cost-of-living crisis, thousands of people are expected to turn to The Salvation Army for help this winter. In over 600 communities across the country, we will be doing all we can for people in desperate need, whatever their circumstances.

At the Salvation Army we put faith into action, and offer compassion and practical help to vulnerable people going through difficult times. This winter, we will work hard to find suitable accommodation for people living on the street.

We will reach out to older people suffering from loneliness and offer companionship. And for families struggling to put food on the table, we offer boxes of groceries so parents can feed their children affordably again.

Please support our Christmas Appeal so we can support some of the most vulnerable people in society this winter.

A gift of:

  • £9 could provide one-to-one support work for a homeless person in one of our centres.

  • £19 could help provide a box of groceries and modest gifts, so that families who are struggling in poverty can share a basic Christmas meal together.

  • £45 could provide a Christmas dinner and the promise of companionship for six lonely older people.
