We're involved in a number of diverse, creative, innovative and impacting expressions of prayer.
From Facebook groups, prayer gatherings, training days, prayer walks, fasting retreats and open air services to email requests, there are many ways in which The Salvation Army is using imaginative and inspiring ways to engage in prayer.
Through words, art, music, activity, silence and more, anyone can try talking to God. People pray with us - not only because they need something, but because they have something to be thankful for.
You can use the interactive wall of prayer below or share your prayer by contacting email@example.com
Our Prayer Network produces a variety of resources, to equip and encourage our local churches and individuals to pray - with an aim to inspire, inform and challenge people to develop their prayer life.
The network emails out a variety of prayer resources and ideas, especially forwarding on inspirational prayer initiatives that have been tried and tested. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a copy of any of the booklets or resources.

'Let's rebuild together': A Call to Prayer - Lent 2018 from 9th February to Easter Sunday
The Salvation Army United Kingdom with Ireland Territory, are called to hold a special Lent season of prayer. We, together with God’s Church, have been under intense pressure for decades, from significant social, cultural and technological change. Yet we are recalling the story of Nehemiah - a story of God for our time. The people of Israel had been through their own devastating experience of exile, leaving the city wall of Jerusalem in ruins.
Nehemiah answered God’s call on his life, dared to believe the impossible, and ‘stood in the gap’ for God’s people. His response to the ‘disgrace’ of Jerusalem’s decay remains a model of prayer and action for a time like ours, as he drew people together in prayer, fasting and rebuilding. Together, they rebuilt the wall of Jerusalem in 52 days.
We have written 'Lets rebuild together: 52 days of prayer and fasting with Nehemiah’ prayer guide that we hope and pray will unite us all in humble yet confident intercession before the God who ‘specialises in things thought impossible’!
