Help us raise the roof with BBC Songs of Praise

published on 26 Sep 2014

The Salvation Army has been asked by the BBC to feature in the new series of the well-loved 'Songs of Praise'.

The series is going through some exciting changes from November this year and as a result we will feature throughout the year in a new programme format.

We will be recording with the BBC a number of songs on 16 and 17 October during the evenings at William Booth College, London.

We need you! If you would like to be involved in the congregation or the massed choir, please return this application form to media@salvationarmy.org.uk.

For fifty-three years, Songs of Praise has given choral singing a presence on BBC One and we are honoured that The Salvation Army has been invited to be part of their new format.

What a wonderful opportunity for The Salvation Army to have a television presence throughout the year, especially as we approach our 150th anniversary! In order to make this a success for the BBC as well as our own church, please take part.

Please note children from the age of 7 and above are welcome to attend with their parents or guardians as part of the congregation.
