From Jersey to Cardiff, the beautiful golden torch covered a total distance of 8,000 miles over 70 days – passing Salvation Army churches along the way. As Olympic fever spread across the nation, a handful of Salvationists were selected to carry the famous Olympic Flame because of the inspirational work they carried out for their community.
