Why run for #TeamSallyArmy?

The Salvation Army’s 650 churches and community centres are responding to the current coronavirus crisis in multiple ways: from food banks to counselling, from supporting NHS isolation units to checking up on people who are living alone. Throughout history the Salvation Army has consistently been at the forefront of relief efforts when tragedy strikes, and the response throughout this current pandemic proves no different. Now more than ever we need support from our valued fundraisers to ensure that those most marginalised by this crisis receive assistance.

What distance is the run?

There is no distance too small to show your support - that's why you can choose to run whichever distance is most appropriate for your milestone. Be it 5K, 10K, a half marathon or even a full marathon itself, it is completely up to you! We are just so grateful to have your support during these difficult times.

How can I fundraise for this event?

We have compiled a special list of fundraising activities that you can do while still adhering to the government's policies on social distancing. Have a peak at our exciting virtual fundraising ideas and please don't hessitate to get in touch if you need any advice or assistance on your fundraising endeavours. You can email our events team at challenge@salvationarmy.org.uk or give us a ring on 020 7367 4819.
