William Booth House in Hull won the Centre of the Year Award for Homelessness Services in 2013 Home of a resettlement programme for twenty six of its residents; this involves a multi-module training and development course to teach independent living skills.
It has a very high success rate evidened by positive move-on and a high level of tenancy maintenance thereafter. William Booth House operates many activities and day trips for residents; addition to pool, snooker and other games. The centre has regular events and trips to local museums and attractions. Mission is a very important aspect of the centre with well attended worship held six days each week. William Booth House is an exceptional lifehouse. It is well managed, maintained and provides a first rate, caring and successful service to its residents.Our services are designed to provide holistic support to every person, making each support plan and approach totally unique to the individual. Many different approaches are taken to ensure that everyone's needs are assessed and met.
