The Salvation Army recognises distinction and difference in our ministry with primary / junior school age children, through the transition of the ‘tweenager’ and teenage years, right through to becoming young adults.
As such our work with children and youth reflects these differences.
We believe the voice of our young people should be listened to. We seek to champion our children and young people and encourage them to be active in our churches.
We want them to play well, to take an active and proactive role in our mission, and to live out our shared heart for justice and social action. Above all we want them to get to know Jesus better.
To ensure this important work takes place we have a dedicated network of specialists working across the United Kingdom and Ireland Territory. We work for and alongside the children and young people who daily come into contact with The Salvation Army.
