Host a tea party

Salvation Army branded teapots and cups on a table

A loving cup of tea can express emotions so much better than words can

The humble cuppa connects friends, communities, loved ones and, in the case of The Salvation Army, it connects people from all backgrounds and needs with our ministers, lay staff, members and volunteers.

Now you can enjoy a perfect cup of tea

While helping us to continue our vital work. We're asking our supporters to take part in the first ever Salvation Army Tea Party. All you have to do is host an event and invite your friends, with guests donating what they can to attend.

Donating is simple

Set up your own BT MyDonate page and send them the link to your page. They can donate online and RSVP at the same time!

Why not

Organise a vintage themed tea party with china tea cups, saucers and bunting! Or just have a nice of cup of tea with friends to reconnect.

Raising just £40 from one Tea Party event could keep a much needed Salvation Army centre open for a day for anyone in need.

Organise your Tea Party in 3 easy steps:

  1. Set up your own BT MyDonate page and click on start fundraising tab to set up your own page
  2. Invite your friends to join you, encouraging them to donate to The Salvation Army by sending them a link to your page
  3. Plan the best night in with a cup of tea and your closest friends! Take lots of photos and send them in to: challenge@salvationarmy.org.uk
