Holding an event
Help raise valuable funds to support The Salvation Army's work by taking part in one of our events

Tea Party Campaign - Join us for a cup of tea.....
Enjoy a perfect cup of tea whilst helping us to continue our vital work by holding your very own Salvation Army Tea Party. All you have to do is host an event and invite your friends, asking them to donate what they can to attend.
Running Events
Raise funds whilst challenging yourself and improving your fitness by taking part in a running event. The Salvation Army has places in the following races:
The London Marathon
10K Road Races
Brighton Marathon
Overseas Challenges
We also work with Different Travel and Charity Challenge to give you the opportunity to take part in a variety of challenge events across the world.
If you have your own place in one of the events above or in any other fundraising event and would still like to raise money for The Salvation Army then we would love to have you run, jump or climb for us! All you need to do is complete the form below.
Alternatively you may wish to organise your own event, in which case please contact us for a fundraising pack which will answer all your fundraising needs from organising to sponsorship forms.
An easy way to collect your sponsorship money is to create an online fundraising page on a site such as Justgiving or BT MyDonate
Thanks to you and the money you raise, we can make a difference to some of the most vulnerable people in society.
We provide unconditional friendship, support and very practical help to people in crisis and need and work with children, older people, homeless people and those dealing with drug and/or alcohol addiction. Alongside our work in the UK, The Salvation Army International Development (UK) is part of a world-wide team supporting the battle against poverty in developing countries. The projects we work with are designed by the poor for the poor and we are about enabling and empowering people to build a better future for themselves.
