Farm

There are 1 billion people going hungry in our world.
1 billion more suffer from ‘Hidden Hunger’ – where they don’t have enough of the vitamins and minerals they need for a healthy, balanced diet.
The majority of those going hungry are actually poor farmers.
Hungry for Change?
If you want to see a world free of hunger, then join us and stand up for the billions of people who need more and better access to food.

CHANGE HEARTS
Take action to eat ethically – buying Fairtrade, growing your own, eating seasonably and wasting less can all help you to have a positive impact. The food you choose to eat can have a knock-on effect for farmers around the world.
CHANGE MINDS
Tell your friends about this injustice and get them hungry for change – the resource pack has loads of resources to help you engage others and get them to take action too. The more of us talking about this, the harder it is for decision-makers to ignore us.
Order your Free Resource Pack now from by calling 020 7367 4777 or emailing id@salvationarmy.org.uk.
Another way of supporting farmers and workers in the developing world is to look for the FAIRTRADE Mark when you shop. Buying a product with this mark offers them a fair price for their produce and way to work themselves out of poverty.
