Trusts and Foundations

The Salvation Army simply wouldn’t be able to continue its work to the scale that it does without support from charitable trusts and foundations.

If you are a trustee or have links to a charitable trust or foundation, and you would like to make a difference to those in society who are vulnerable or suffering, then please do help the work of The Salvation Army to do so. Your money will go towards the development of our social work, the church and the bettering of individuals’ lives.

Your donation is invaluable to us but we understand how important it is to you too. With this in mind we like to keep our donors informed regularly of the impact their donation has had on a programme, centre or corps. We also encourage as many of our funders as possible to visit our work to be able to see the life-changing work that our volunteers and dedicated staff are achieving.

What your support could do….

  • £500 helps pay for a week’s accommodation in a Salvation Army resettlement centre for five homeless young people.
  • £1,000 could pay for almost 200 lonely older people to enjoy a hot meal at a Salvation Army community centre.
  • £5,000 can help towards keeping one of our day care centres open for a year

Please contact the Trust unit for any support in making a grant, or to find out more information about any of the work that we do.
