In photos: Torch Relay comes to Hadleigh Farm

The Olympic Flame made a momentous visit to The Salvation Army Hadleigh Farm – the host venue of the 2012 Mountain Biking competition - during the 49th day of the Torch Relay.

Trainees at Hadleigh Farm braved the torrential rain to watch the torch go by on its 117-mile journey through 13 communities from  Ipswich to Chelmsford on Friday (6 July).

At the Hadleigh Farm Mountain Bike course the Flame was attached to a bicycle with a photo opportunity held at the start / finish line of the course for the London 2012 Games.

The farm in Essex was graced with the presence of the torch hours after 69-year-old  Salvation Army bandsman John Willson carried the torch through Hatfield Peverel.
