Here's a few ideas...
Attend one of the regional ROOTS events. ROOTS is an all-age family event whose aim is to inspire spiritual renewal, effective mission and a pioneering spirit. The ROOTS team will be in Scotland, Birmingham and London this year.
Portsmouth Citadel Salvation Army has lots of events organised through the year. Most are free and are held in our own hall in Lake Road. Come and see what’s going on, it would be great to see you at a Salvation Army event.
Our main services on a Sunday are held at 10am and 5pm, in our Lake Road building. There’s no need for a uniform, no need to participate, and no need to have any faith. Just come along and see what you think.
If you are in the Hamilton area of Scotland, pop in to The Meeting place Café - Serving good wholesome food - the most popular choice being the Homemade Soup! Open to everyone, with plenty of free car parking and full disabled access.
If you need a listening ear or if there is anything else we can help you with, please do not hesitate to speak to one of the people helping at the Café. If necessary they will contact the Officer for you or give you a contact number
If you are in London for a spot of shopping pop in to Regent Hall - the Church on Oxford street. Every week there is always something happening - from weekend worship services, social events, Bible studies, rehearsals ..... or just relaxing in Cafe Renew.
Wherever you are, there will be a Salvation Army near you; offering a listening ear, unconditional friendship and practical support, whoever you are.
