    • The ISB are running workshop and sectionals sessions for the LNE Youth Band (along with another Youth Band) on Saturday afternoon followed by a short afternoon concert with the massed Youth Bands and then an evening concert with the ISB, again featuring the massed Youth Bands. Free parking is available for ticket holders and entry and parking for the Youth Band Members is free. More information is available here.

      • The second annual I'll Fight Day! On this day young people across the Territory will be getting out and serving their communities by getting stuck into practical mission. This could be through community fundraising activities, praying with people in the high street, umberella patrols - the possibilities are endless! Groups taking part also get free t-shirts!       • The Boundless Congress is going to be a huge international event celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Salvation Army. Hosted mainly at the O2 arena in London, it's going to be a truly epic event with thousands of Salvationists flying in from around the globe to take part.   • Thursday 23 - Sunday 26 Kids Alive Outside at St Mark's College, Audley End
  • THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED
  • Kids Alive Outside (KAO) is a residential event for children connected to The Salvation Army aged 7-11.  It is a great opportunity for children to explore their faith, make new friends,and enjoy a wide range of fun activities.  This year our theme is GO MAD! (Go Make A Difference).  We will be looking at characters from the Bible who did some unusual things and then asking the children to think about what they could do to make the world a better place, both globally and locally.

      • If you are aged 12 to 25 and connect to the Salvation Army in some way then this summer there can be no better place to be than at LNE Summer School 2015! If you want to get some idea of what the week is like you can watch the video here.       • This year's Big Day Out event will be an extra special day as it will also be part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of the Hadleigh Training Centre! We are also pleased to be joined over this celebration weekend by the Territorial Leaders Clive and Marianne Adams. More information will be put online as it becomes available. Divisional Musical Sections

  • The London North East Fellowship Band

The London North East Divisional Fellowship Band

  • The London North East Fellowship Band was formed to serve all members of the community aged 55 plus. If you play a brass instrument and would like to be part of this friendly, supportive and very active group then please come along to one of our rehearsals. The band is open to anyone aged 55 or over and it is not necessary to be a member of the Salvation Army to join. Rehearsals are Fridays at 1pm at Hadleigh. If you'd like to contact someone from the bands leadership team you can reach Eric Collett at eric.collett@talktalk.net.

Straight Ahead Youth Choir enjoy a break from rehearsal in 2013

  • Straight Ahead Youth Choir is a vibrant, friendly, welcoming group of young people who love to sing! Many of our members are connected to Salvation Army Churches around the London North East Division, however you don't have to be a member of the Salvation Army to join Straight Ahead. So, if you're 12 to 25 and think that you'd like to be a part of Straight Ahead, why not come along to our next rehearsal and see if you like it? Youth Band at Bishops Stortford 2013

  • Re-formed in 2012, the LNE Youth Band serves young people from Essex, parts of East London, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. It's a relaxed, friendly and open band who are always looking for new people to join their ranks! So if you're 12 to 25 years old and play a brass instrument, why not join us for one of our rehearsals. And remember - you don't need to be a member of the Salvation Army to join us.   • Divsional Training Guide

  • The Divisional Training Guide falls in to three main sections:

  • Divisional Training:  Training planned to be held in the Division during 2015

  • Essential Training:  Training that is mandatory for the safe running of our programmes and how to access it

  • Organic Training:  Training that can be offered by the Divisional team to meet the needs identified in your corps and centres. We are happy to come to you and train your teams in situ.

    There is also information about how to access the courses on ilearn for volunteers, employees and officers and contact details for some excellent external training providers.
