Once again this year we are running our Christmas Toy Appeal, gathering in donations of brand new toys and financial gifts to support families struggling to make ends meet. We work closely with social services and other support groups to make sure the gifts get to the right families.
We hope to provide a little Christmas joy for the children by making sure there are presents for them to open on Christmas Day.
Donations of new, unwrapped toys and gifts can be brought throughout November and early December to Ivybridge Salvation Army at The Bridge, Leonards Road, Ivybridge, PL21 0SL, Wednesday-Friday, 9.30am-4.00pm.
Suggested Items:
Dolls, cars, dinosaurs, play sets, balls, teddy bears, animals, puzzles, games, books, art and craft sets, stationery, outdoor games, room decorations (fairy lights, cushions, blankets), sensory toys, baby gifts, bubbles, hat, scarf and glove sets, jewellery, toiletry sets, chocolates/sweets, make-up, football gifts…….
We create gift packages for children from birth to 17 years and last year provided over 160 gift parcels so your generous support is very much needed!
