Your Church in the Community

Welcome to the Salvation Army's expression of Church in Enfield, located on the Willow Estate

The Salvation Army has been present for well over 100 years in Enfield and it is nearly 50 years ago that we moved from Chaseside to our current building in Churchbury Lane.

Following the Covid 19 Pandemic we have re-imagined what it means to be a community church with vibrant mid-week activities for all age groups.

On a Wednesday our 'Connect' group meet providing a stimulating 4 hours of engagement for the mind, body and soul which includes a light lunch. Whilst this group attracts people over 50, all are welcome to attend.

Thursday and Friday see the 'Shining Stars' toddler group taking place in our hall. A great opportunity for parents and carers to meet as well as providing a safe environment for play and interaction for the children. - this has become so popular that there is a waiting list for places.

On Friday evening we welcome children aged 5-11 to our recently formed Kid's club again this is nearly full to capacity. An action-packed evening of games, craft, music and Bible teaching.

Alongside these community activities there is also an opportunity for young people to learn to play a musical instrument or to sing in our kids' choir - our rehearsals take place on a Thursday evening.

SUNDAY Gathered  Family Worship commencing at 10am

If you are thinking about faith, new to faith or even just curious then you are welcome to join with us on a Sunday for our Christian family worship which features singing, music from our band and choir as well as age specific activities.

Our meetings are relaxed and include times of prayer and reflection as well as relevant Biblical teaching. Everyone is welcome and there is no dress code - come as you are!

WEDNESDAY - 'Connect' from 10.30am -2pm (for more details see below)

THURSDAY/FRIDAY  'Shining Stars' Toddler Group meeting from 9.15am - 11am (TERM TIME ONLY)

FRIDAY 'Kid's Alive Club Our new children's club for ages 5-11 5pm -6.15pm

We look forward to welcoming you to our Church and join an ever increasing number of new faces who have found Enfield Salvation Army a welcoming and inclusive place to belong.
